MaldivesMyIslands.com is my personal writing platform and an independent digital archive dedicated to documenting the biodiversity, fisheries, folklore, history, and cultural heritage of the Maldives.

Founded in 2025, it is the Maldives’ first dedicated biodiversity and fisheries platform. Through original long-form articles, photography, interviews, and field observations, I seek to document the living story of the Maldivian archipelago.

Unlike platforms that present the Maldives primarily as a tourism destination, I approach the islands as a living heritage shaped by nature, history, culture, and the enduring relationship between people and the sea.

My work brings together:

At its heart, Maldives My Islands is a living chronicle of the Maldives—its marine life, fisheries heritage, island ecosystems, folklore, history, and culture—created with the belief that the stories of our islands deserve to be preserved, understood, and shared with future generations.
