It used to make me think of watermelon when I heard the name Thoddoo. For many years, the fruit of Thoddoo Island nourished our hearts. As Ramadan approaches, Malé’s market is packed with watermelons from the island.

Thoddoo is 67 kilometres west of the capital, Malé. The island is two kilometres long and one kilometres wide. Despite its stellar reputation as a producer of agricultural goods, the island is known more for its beautiful beaches. The people of Thoddoo Island are friendly. They’re very nice.

In addition to growing the most watermelon in the Maldives, this island has become a famous place for tourists to visit. Attractions for travellers, campers, and tourists include natural beauty, culture, and other things. Recently, Thoddoo has become a famous place for tourists to visit. Nowadays, the island is known for being a great place to visit rather than its watermelon.

Thoddoo is an amazing island. The majority of the Maldivian islands are relatively small. However, Thoddoo is large. The island is special for many reasons, such as its rich soil, plants, fruit trees, long coastline, and large house reef. I felt and envisioned this from the stunning drone footage captured by the expert pilot Jumaan.

Simply put, Thoddoo is an island with beautiful sandy beaches, a large lake surrounded by a stunning reef, a lot of fruits, and the perfect spot to watch the stunning sunsets in the Maldives.

This beautiful island is ringed by big coconut palms. Long stretches of white sand beaches are connected by turquoise water. In the lagoon and its waters, there is complete calm.

Fruit trees like papaya, tomato, and others grow all over the island. The tall coconut palm trees on the island look beautiful against the huge watermelon fields when seen from above.

People all over the world come to the Maldives to see the most beautiful and unique sunsets. Thoddoo is a great place to see the beautiful sunset over the Maldives. Everything is in place to witness this breathtaking natural phenomenon.

Beautiful beaches can be found in Thoddoo. The shoreline of the island is very long. Two beaches are on opposite sides of the island. From the western side of the island, you can relax and enjoy the beautiful sunset. The long stretch of shoreline with lots of coconut palm trees and lots of lush plants frame the beach and its beauty.

Different kinds of colourful fish inhabit in the northeastern part of the island. Moorish idols, eagles, eels, turtles, manta rays, surgeon fish, and parrot fish are among the numerous colourful species that can be observed. Marine life is amazing at Thoddoo’s house reef. An amazing reef full of colourful species is also nearby.

To discover the actual treasure of the Maldives’ biodiversity, simply go safari snorkeling near Thoddoo and Rashdhoo Island, an island south of Thoddoo. You will encounter stunning varieties of fish, including turtles. You are quite fortunate to have the opportunity to see manta rays. Mantas frequently visit a cleaning station near Thoddoo. You can go on an exciting dolphin tour. There is also an uninhabited island near Rasdhoo called Madivaru Finolhu. The island of Thoddoo is a great place to relax.
